2.3 Self-referrals are strictly prohibited. You may not refer yourself, a business you own, a business you are a director, shareholder or partner of, or any connected party, including a business that shares directors, shareholders, a registered or trading address, a domain, or payment details with you.
2.4 For the purposes of these terms, an "active client" means a client with an active hosting agreement with ilumi Technologies Ltd, whose account is not suspended, overdue, pending cancellation, or otherwise in breach of any agreement with ilumi Technologies Ltd.
Upon successful completion of all conditions set out in these terms, both the referrer and the referred business will each receive three (3) months of free hosting applied as a credit to their respective accounts.
3.1.1 The value of the reward is dependent on each party's hosting plan. Each party's three free months are credited against the monthly fee payable under their own hosting agreement and applied to their next monthly invoices after the reward is activated. The reward is applied as free hosting credit and has no cash equivalent.
3.1.2 There is no cash alternative to the reward. The reward is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged, sold, or applied to any service other than hosting with ilumi Technologies Ltd.
3.1.3 The reward is applied directly to the hosting accounts of both parties and cannot be converted to monetary value under any circumstances. Any unused credit is lost if the hosting agreement ends.
3.1.4 The free months do not shorten or extend the minimum 12-month hosting term. The term runs as normal, and the monthly fees for the remaining months are payable as usual.
3.2.1 Each eligible client is given a unique personal referral code (a "Referral Code"). Clients who have not received theirs can request it by emailing [email protected]. We decide whether to issue a Referral Code, and we may withdraw or replace any Referral Code at any time where we suspect misuse (see clauses 4 and 12).
3.2.2 To make a valid referral, the referrer shares their Referral Code directly with the business they wish to refer. The referred business must quote the Referral Code, and the name of the referrer's business, at its first enquiry to us about a website build, whether by contact form, email, phone, or any other channel, and before any proposal or quote is issued. A Referral Code cannot be added or claimed after the first enquiry or after a proposal has been issued.
3.2.3 We will keep a record of the date and time of the first enquiry and the Referral Code quoted. That record constitutes proof of the referral. Each referred business may use one Referral Code only and can be linked to one referrer only.
3.2.4 When a Referral Code is quoted, we will check that it is valid and that it matches the referrer's business name. We will then send a written confirmation to both parties, acknowledging that the referral has been received and logged, confirming who referred whom, and outlining the conditions that must be satisfied for the reward to activate. Both parties acknowledging this written confirmation (a reply by email is sufficient) is required for the referral to be fully valid. A referral where the Referral Code is invalid, the names do not match, or either party disputes the referral will be disqualified.
3.2.5 A Referral Code is personal to the referrer and must be shared only directly with businesses the referrer personally knows. It must not be published, advertised, posted on social media, voucher or coupon sites, or referral marketplaces, or sold, traded, or offered in exchange for payment or any other benefit.
3.2.6 Quoting a Referral Code does not by itself entitle anyone to a discount or reward. The reward activates only once the conditions in clause 3.3 are met.
3.2.7 A referral remains valid for ninety (90) calendar days from the date of the first enquiry. If the referred business does not enter into a qualifying agreement with ilumi Technologies Ltd within this period, the referral shall automatically expire and no reward shall be payable.
3.2.8 The referrer is responsible for making sure that the referred business knows about the Programme and these terms before quoting the Referral Code.
The reward will only activate once all of the following conditions have been met in full:
The reward will be issued within fourteen (14) calendar days following confirmation that all conditions have been fully satisfied.
ilumi Technologies Ltd reserves the right to withhold or reverse a reward if it is later established that any condition was not genuinely met or that any information provided was inaccurate or misleading.
If any qualifying invoice is refunded, reversed, disputed, charged back, cancelled, or remains unpaid after reward activation, ilumi Technologies Ltd reserves the right to revoke, remove, or recover any associated reward or hosting credit issued under the Programme.
Rewards are contingent upon the referred business remaining in good standing throughout the activation process, including compliance with all applicable agreements and payment obligations with ilumi Technologies Ltd.
ilumi Technologies Ltd reserves the right to decline to work with, onboard, or provide services to any referred business at its sole discretion. No reward shall arise where a referred project or hosting agreement is declined or not proceeded with.
All reward activity is subject to availability and the continued operation of the Programme during the Promotion Period (see clause 3.5).
3.5.1 The Programme runs until 28 February 2027 (the "Promotion Period"). A referral is eligible only if the Referral Code is quoted at the referred business's first enquiry on or before 28 February 2027.
3.5.2 The Programme runs on these terms unchanged until 28 February 2027. During the Promotion Period we will not reduce the reward, change the eligibility requirements, or end the Programme early, except where necessary to comply with the law or a regulatory requirement, to correct a manifest error (with notice to participants), or to deal with abuse or fraud under clauses 4 and 12. Any such change will not affect a referral already confirmed under clause 3.2.4, other than where the referral is found to be abusive or fraudulent.
3.5.3 Referrals confirmed on or before 28 February 2027 will continue to be honoured after that date, provided all conditions in clause 3.3 are met within the time limits set out in these terms.
The Programme is intended solely for genuine personal or business referrals and may not be used for commercial lead generation, affiliate marketing, referral marketplaces, paid advertising, bulk referral activity, or resale purposes without the prior written consent of ilumi Technologies Ltd.
Referral Codes must not be published, advertised, sold, traded, or offered in exchange for any payment or benefit; generated, guessed, or tested using automated tools; or used by anyone other than the client they were issued to. Participants must not arrange for a connected or related business to make an enquiry in order to obtain a reward.
Any attempt to abuse the Programme, including but not limited to submitting fake referrals, misusing or sharing Referral Codes in breach of clause 3.2.5, creating duplicate accounts or businesses, self-referrals, referrals made without the referred party's knowledge or consent, or any other fraudulent activity, will result in immediate disqualification of all associated referrals, withdrawal of the Referral Code, and potential suspension of the referrer's account.
By quoting a referrer's Referral Code and business name, the referred business confirms that it was genuinely referred by that business, and consents to us confirming to the referrer that the referral has been received, the name of the referred business, and the status of the referral, for the purposes of verifying the referral and applying rewards under this Programme.
Referrers should not send us the contact details of other businesses. The referred business should contact us directly, quoting the Referral Code.
All personal data collected as part of this Programme is processed and retained in accordance with ilumi Technologies Ltd's Privacy Policy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details of how your data is handled.
A single referrer may earn rewards for a maximum of three (3) successful referrals during the Promotion Period, which is a maximum of nine (9) months of free hosting credit. We will confirm no more than three (3) referrals per referrer. A referral that expires or is disqualified does not count towards this limit. A Referral Code may be used by more than one referred business, up to this limit, but each referred business may use a Referral Code only once.
For example, three successful referrals would earn the referrer 9 months of free hosting credit.
The referrer must remain on a Qualifying Plan, on a current 12-month hosting contract, at the time each reward is activated. If the referrer's contract lapses, or they cease to be on a Qualifying Plan, before reward activation, the reward for that referral will be forfeited.
The Programme reward cannot be combined or stacked with any other promotion, discount, offer, credit, free period, or incentive scheme run by ilumi Technologies Ltd, unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, and there is no overlap between promotions. If a referrer or referred business is eligible for another promotion in respect of the same project or hosting agreement, they must choose one promotion in writing when the project is confirmed, and that choice cannot be changed afterwards. Multiple referrals by the same referrer within the limit above are permitted and are not considered stacking for the purposes of this clause.
All branding, visual identity, logos, trademarks, graphics, website design, written content, proprietary materials, and other intellectual property displayed on ilumi-seo.com or used in connection with ilumi Technologies Ltd services remain the property of ilumi Technologies Ltd unless otherwise stated.
No part of our branding, website design, content, graphics, or proprietary materials may be copied, reproduced, republished, modified, distributed, or used without our prior written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ilumi Technologies Ltd accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or disappointment arising from participation in the Programme; technical failures, delays, or errors in processing referrals; or any tax liability incurred by a participant as a result of receiving a reward.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes ilumi Technologies Ltd's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights available to consumers under applicable consumer protection laws in England and Wales.
Participants are solely responsible for determining and meeting any applicable tax liabilities arising from rewards received through this Programme. ilumi Technologies Ltd does not provide tax advice. Participants are encouraged to seek independent tax advice if they are uncertain of their obligations.
Subject to clause 3.5, ilumi Technologies Ltd reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Programme: (a) at any time, where necessary to comply with the law or a regulatory requirement or to deal with abuse or fraud; and (b) for any reason after the end of the Promotion Period.
Where possible, ilumi Technologies Ltd will provide reasonable advance notice of any material changes to the Programme to existing participants.
Modifications to the Programme will not affect any reward that has already been validly activated and confirmed in writing, or any referral already confirmed under clause 3.2.4, prior to the modification taking effect, other than where the referral is found to be abusive or fraudulent.
Subject to clause 3.5, these terms may change from time to time. The terms in force on the date a referral is confirmed under clause 3.2.4 will apply to that referral. We will notify existing participants of material changes where reasonably possible. Continued participation in the Programme after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
Significant term changes will be communicated directly, and participants will have the opportunity to withdraw from the Programme if they do not accept the new terms.

ilumi Technologies Ltd reserves the right to carry out reasonable verification checks on any referral and to request supporting information from either party before issuing a reward. These checks may include confirming the validity and use of any Referral Code, confirming the relationship between the referrer and the referred business, and checking for connected parties by reference to ownership, directors, addresses, domains, and payment details.
ilumi Technologies Ltd reserves the right to disqualify any referral or participant, and to withdraw or replace any Referral Code, at its reasonable discretion where it has grounds to believe the Programme is being misused.
Any decision made by ilumi Technologies Ltd regarding eligibility, disqualification, or the validity of a referral is final.
ilumi Technologies Ltd operates in compliance with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and other applicable regulations. By participating in this Programme, you confirm that your participation complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
You are responsible for ensuring that any data you provide complies with applicable privacy laws and that any referral is made with the full knowledge and consent of the referred party.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or participation in this Programme shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We encourage participants to contact us first to resolve any concerns or disputes amicably before pursuing legal action.
We warrant that the Programme will be administered with reasonable care and skill.
Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of war, terrorism, pandemics, internet outages, or government actions.
Entire Agreement: These terms constitute the entire agreement between ilumi Technologies Ltd and participants in relation to the Programme and supersede any prior representations or arrangements.
Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, it shall be severed from the rest of the terms, which shall remain valid and enforceable.
Waiver: Failure by ilumi Technologies Ltd to enforce any provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
Assignment: You may not assign, transfer, or subcontract these terms or any of your rights or obligations without our prior written consent.
